Fishing
There's an abundance of fish in the beautiful Clarence River, so you're welcome to fish in the river as long as you have a licence do so.
Kayaking
We are located on the Clarence river and kayaking is possible, but not recommended for novices.
You won't be able to kayak up the river as the current is too strong, but down river is fine. Two cars are required: one to take the kayaks to Lilydale bridge to put them in, then kayak two hours down river to our property and drive the other car back to collect the first one. You can also kayak down to the Copmanhurst boat ramp which is around 5 or 6 hours, again you need two cars to do this.
And Also
We have high speed internet (150mbp/s), Netflix, games room, some musical instruments, board games, croquet and other outdoor games
Beverages
There is a small selection of wines, beers and spirts available for purchase all drinks can be paid for in cash or using PayID during or after your stay.
If you would like cold drinks ready and waiting for you please let us know in advance
Bush Walks
There are approximately 5km of sign-posted mown walking tracks around the property showing you routes to the river and viewing points. We are aware that there are areas overrun with lantana and are gradually tackling these areas and regenerating the bush.
Entertainment
There's plenty to do without leaving the property; you can walk in nature, fish in the river or play games with friends and family. If you want, you can explore the surrounding area, visit the historic town of Grafton or enjoy a fantastic meal at the Copmanhurst pub.
Relaxation
Enjoy an outdoor bath, chat around the fire pit, huddle inside to watch a movie or just read a book on the deck, looking up to take in the views
